Furthermore, a discovery tour is available for download, ready to be used offline and on site. You can listen using headphones or by holding your smartphone to your ear, the way you would for a phone call. It's best to download the app while you're still at home and to take a peek at the monument. That way, you can start your visit as soon as you arrive on site.
The 60-minute multimedia discovery tour in and around the Sepulchral Chapel contains 12 audio and visual stations: guests can listen to details of the building’s history, view picture galleries and slideshows, and find out fascinating background information about the historic royal couple Wilhelm I and Katharina, Russian Orthodox religious rites, and the monument to eternal love that remains famous to this day. The tour is available for download in German in English.
